Yellow is usually associated with light. Here, however, it behaves differently. It penetrates through the graphite and black layers; in some places it is blurred, while in others it appears with great intensity. Numerous scuffs and fine marks make the surface seem to be constantly changing.

In *Yellow Shadow*, light and shadow cease to be opposites. One can exist within the other, just as experiences that simultaneously draw us in and leave us with a sense of heaviness.

Sometimes, the brightest things cast the longest shadows.
